About Gimme Media
Gimme Media started life in 2013, concentrating on producing great looking websites and print for local businesses. From there we introduced new strings to our business bow, enabling us to help our clients out even further. These "strings" were areas that we already had a vast experience in, we just didn't offer them right at the start until we were comfortably over the start up period of our business.
Who's Behind Gimme Media?
Toby Drysdale is the driving force behind Gimme Media. An avid computer geek who started out in the early 80's with a ZX Spectrum, going on to train in computer programming with Doncaster Council, before returning to higher education to gain an HND in Informatics (programming, systems analysis and marketing).
A year with a local publishing company running the local newspaper, was followed by a year with Yorkshire Post Newspapers in the sales department, and then finally, 16 years with AB Print Group, were he started with 2 years in Sales before managing the Estimating Department and then the IT Department. Head of Health & Safety for the Group and Chief Tea boy were amongst other "titles" he held.
But, having spent 18 years in the print, publishing and advertising arena, he felt that it was time to go it alone, building on his passion for computers, websites and marketing. And so, Gimme Media was born.
Outside of Gimme Media
Outside of Gimme Media, Toby and his partner Nicky train and teach at the local Martial Arts Centre. Both train in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu (along with Tobys son) and also teaching Kickboxing to children and adults. The teaching side of things is a voluntary activity, both loving the fact that they can pass their knowledge onto others.
Outdoor activities tend to take up the rest of Toby's time, with dog walking, camping and rally watching among his favourite past times.
